Description
Rendang is the most popular Indonesian thick curry like meat dish originated from Bukittingi (high Land) West Sumatra, however rendang becomes famous al over the country as they are now easily find in restaurant padang (West Sumatra capital)
Rendang historically cooked for ceremony and other inaugural events for celebration or special events to honor the guests. The way rendang cooked is more rich than kaleo (identical with coconut curry) before the curry is still in thick soup type, then after hours of slow cooking when it become paste and colour change from orange to dark chocolate it becomes Rendang.
